Is it a physical device?

No, our database is in the cloud, there is no device or physical monitoring required.

Do I need to install anything?

No, there is no set up or installation to get started. You simply need to log into our platform or use our API integration to receive our data in your favourite software.

What API integrations are available?

DarkArmor is API focused and currently has integrations for Splunk. More are coming soon—get in touch to make sure we prioritize your preferred tools of the trade.

Do you use AI?

We do not use agentic or generative AI. Natural Language Processing (a branch of AI) is used to identify content of images, such as victim and institution names on a cheque. Our proprietary technology gathers data through automation and scraping, and does not use AI for decisions and actions. Any data that you share with us will not be fed into LLMs.

How often is data updated?

Our data is constantly being updated in real time, with 50 thousand fresh data points added daily. We have automated methodologies that work around the clock to make sure you have 360° visibility, even while you sleep.

I already use another dark web monitoring tool, do I need this?

We monitor the dark web and go a step further—we specifically offer fresh data that has not yet reached the dark web with our advanced prebreach intel.

We do not compete with other companies in areas where they scrape and sell dark web data wholesale, focus on upcoming patterns and trends, or scan / quarantine suspicious emails. Read more in Why Us.

Where is the data from?

Our proprietary technology involves advanced forensics that reverse engineer phish and malware attacks to extract relevant data from infrastructure to identify victims at scale. This means the data has not yet reached the dark web nor has been publicized / duplicated across other channels.
